Our loving husband and father, Alvin Orville Price, died on March 4, 2015 in Provo, UT 3 days before his 90th birthday. He was born on March 7, 1925 to Alvin Erastus Price and Lola Orvilla Post and was raised in Tucson, AZ. He is survived by wife Carol Lee Price, 3 brothers, 2 sisters, daughters Cynthia and (Daniel), Alyson and (Brent), Holly, and son Troy and (Laurel), 21 grandkids, and 47 great grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings and infant son Tracy Ryan Price. Alvin served during WWII in the Army Air Corps, served a LDS Church mission to South Africa, graduated from BYU, managed the BYU Creamery, owned and operated Price’s Ice Cream Parlor, and ran a dairy farm in West Mountain. In his later years, his passion was his green house and garden. He was kind, caring, and generous. He had a contagious laugh and a funny sense of humor. He will be loved and missed by all. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
