Audrey Loraine Adams
May 30, 1941 - December 3, 2014
Audrey Loraine Adams passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 3, 2014. She was born in the spring of 1941 in Beloit, Wisconsin to Charley and Ruth Audrey Thompson. Audrey’s greatest joy and satisfaction in this life was found in her family. Her happiest times were when she was with her children and grandchildren. She delighted in their accomplishments and encouraged them to develop their talents. Audrey traveled and lived in many places including Bermuda and Alaska (when it was still a territory) and several of the states in the United States. She overcame much in her life and could make a bad situation into a good one with her industry and sense of humor. She loved a good joke and could see beauty and humor in the simplest of things. Audrey loved gardening, family history and music. She was blessed with a beautiful singing voice which she inherited from her Mother, and shared her vocal talents with many. Audrey joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, at the early age of 11 years old and remained a faithful member until her passing. She enjoyed being involved in church and civic activities and serving and helping her fellowman. She was a self-taught, refined and educated woman. She graduated High School in Little Rock, Arkansas and continued to be a lifelong learner, taking classes and developing her talents and skills, which she put to work in providing for herself and her family. She is survived by her daughters, Leslie Michelle Erickson (Alan), Jennifer Lynn Bay (Doug), and her only son, Michael John Owen Falgoust (Erin), 21 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-Law, Shirley Thompson (DeLain) and their children, all of whom she enjoyed spending time with and sincerely loved. Audrey is preceded in death by her parents, her only brother, C. DeLain Thompson, her oldest daughter, Deborah Sue Larsen (Ken) and her youngest daughter, Susan Lorraine Falgoust. She was a blessing to her family and friends and will be dearly missed. The family would like to express thanks to all of the aides, nurses, caregivers and staff at Beehive Homes of Lehi, for their warm, genuine concern and care for our mother; for the wonderful staff and nurses at Timpanogos Regional Hospital; and for the caring and helpful staff at Berg Mortuary. Private family services were held with interment at East Lawn Memorial Hills Cemetery. Audrey’s obituary may be found at www.bergmortuary.com.
