Beverly Beck Gottfredson Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Beverly Beck Gottfredson, age 92, died on March 25, 2021. She was born in Springville, Utah to Alton E. and Vanda Beck on September 21, 1928. Beverly graduated from Orem High School and was on the basketball team. Raised on a farm in southwest Orem, Beverly continued that same work ethic all the days of her life. Beverly married her sweetheart Glen Robert Gottfredson August 29, 1947, and their marriage was solemnized in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Salt Lake Temple on August 28, 1964. Beverly worked as a school lunch worker for the Provo School District for 35 years, ending her career as the school lunchroom manager at Provo High School. She was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Relief Society, Young Women’s organization, and the Primary. She loved to spend time with her family, and she enjoyed fishing, camping, breakfast up the canyon, golfing, and going south for the winter. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Alton E. and Vanda Beck; her sister, Shirley Larsen; and her brother, Paul Beck. She will be missed by her children: Kathleen Dahlin (Terry) and Randy G. Gottfredson (Debbie) and Ernest Burgess (Connie); 17 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild.
