Carol Fay Montgomery Rouse Obituary (1930

Our loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Carol Fay Montgomery Rouse, 84, passed away on April 19, 2015 at the Beehive Home care facility near her home in Orem. She was born on May 23, 1930 in Park Falls, Wisconsin, the daughter of Nettie and Andrew Montgomery. Carol worked as a legal secretary before becoming a full time homemaker. She married Wilfred Arthur Rouse Jr. in 1948 in Richmond, California. They were later sealed in the Los Angeles Temple. A devout member of the LDS Church, Carol served in many capacities over the years at her Ward in Orem, as well as Wards in California, Texas and Minnesota. Before her health failed she was an ordinance worker at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. She is survived by her children, Jeff Rouse (Suzanne) and Juli Rose; grandchildren, Sarah Johnson and Jared Knuth (Alyssa); and five great-grandchildren, Xander, Quintyn, Landon, Michelle and Isabella. She was preceded in death by her husband; grandson, Adam Knuth and sister, Betty Kinnard. The family wishes to thank Ann and Marie of Encompass Hospice and the Beehive Home for the excellent care given to her. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2015 at the LDS Chapel, 155 West 1600 South, Orem. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Orem, 500 North State Street, Thursday evening from 6 until 8 and at the church Friday one hour prior to services. Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
