Cheryl B. Christensen Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Cheryl B. Christensen, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Provo, UT on Nov. 2, 2016 of heart failure. Born on Dec. 26, 1929 in Nephi, UT to Leland Belliston and Genevieve Greenhalgh Belliston Bigler Boyson; she was the only girl squished between two brothers on each side. She married her high school sweetheart, Norris A. Christensen in the Manti LDS Temple. Her three greatest loves were Family, Church and Country. She was a long time dental assistant to Dr. D Creed Brimhall in Provo. She served as a Relief Society President twice as well as many other positions in the LDS Church. Dad and mom served a mission in England which was such a great highlight in their lives. They loved to travel together and went on many Webb Tours. She was also an avid fan of the Utah Jazz and BYU basketball. She loved her family! Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her so much Joy. Mom was preceded in death by our dad, mother, father and three brothers as well as two great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Craig Christensen, Jill C. Chiles and Kelly (Karen) Christensen; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and brother, Steven Bigler. Our family would like to express its sincere appreciation to Elevation Home Health and Hospice with a special thanks to Joylyn and Bonnie. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 at the LDS Church, 1260 West 1150 North, Provo, UT. A viewing will be held at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Sunday, November 6, from 6-8:00 p.m. and at the church Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
