Cody William Smith Obituary (1959

Cody William Smith passed away January 12, 2014. He was born on October 13, 1959 to Terrell William and Carol Lorraine Rudd Smith in Jacksonville, Florida. He grew up in Jacksonville and graduated from Suwannee High School in Live Oak, Florida. He married Christine Everett Smith on November 20, 1997 in American Fork, Utah. Cody independently owned his own trucking business transporting for the oil fields. He bred, raised and trained quarter horses and pure breed dogs. He was a gentle, kind person. His family was very important to him. Cody is survived by his mother, Carol; wife, Christine; children, Cody, Joshua, Sasha and Stephie; and siblings, Sherree S. Schneider, Terrell William Smith, Tisha S. Henrie, Joel S. Van Leuven, Kris R. Van Leuven and Rebecca A. Van Leuven. He was preceded in death by his father, Terrell and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at the Grandview 7th Ward Chapel, 1120 North 850 West, Provo, Utah.
