Connie Dennis
April 23, 1953 - May 27, 2015
God saw you getting tired, so He wrapped his arms around you, and whispered, "Come to me." You didn't deserve what you went through, so He gave you rest. God's garden must be beautiful, He only takes the best. And when I saw you sleeping, so peaceful and free from pain, I could not wish you back to suffer again. Connie was born to Aurelia (Anne) Done & Henry Taylor Dennis in their home in Provo, Utah. Although there were many complications in bringing Connie to this earth, she arrived on April 23, 1953. This was a great surprise as this day was also her mother’s birthday. Connie was welcomed by her mother, father and two siblings, Douglas & Peggy. Connie had many complications with her health. To her parents and the doctor’s surprise, Connie lived a full life which included waiting patiently and praying for a little brother that came 12 years later (Duwayne). She graduated from Provo High School in 1972. She gave birth to three beautiful daughters: Angela Lee Dennis 1975, Melissa Anne Dennis 1981 and Nicole K Dennis 1983. She was very proud of her grandkids: Ricardo Moises Rosas 1996, Victoria Maria Cambray 1996, Kaleb Moises Rosas 2000, Charles Ian Morby 2003, Abigail Quetzalli Anne Rosas 2012 and Lilliane Diane Hacking 2012. Connie will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her children; grandkids; brothers, Douglas Taylor Dennis and Duwayne Todd Dennis; and sister, Peggy Anne Groo. Connie’s last words to be remembered by were, “Let go of the past; learn to live each day as a gift. Remember me in your heart, thoughts and your memories, of the times we loved, the times we cried, and most importantly the times we laughed. If you think of me, I will never be truly gone, and I will always be with you wherever you may go.” A celebration of Connie’s lifelong journey will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Viewings will be held at the mortuary Thursday from 6-8:00 p.m. and Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery. Condolences may be extended to the family at www.bergmortuary.com.
