Connie Amparo Lopez left this earthly sojourn on November 21, 2021. She was surrounded by family and left peacefully. She was born July 2, 1937 in Mexico City, Mexico. Her parents Joseph Aguilar and Victoria Ortiz blessed her with 5 siblings and she is survived by all: Rosinda Meredith, Philthak Aguilar, Maria Elena Baca, Hilda Granados and Francisco Aguilar. Her first steps in the US were made with her brother Phil in the early 1950’s. She graduated from John Burrough’s High School in Burbank, California. She worked approximately 10 years at California’s Division of Highways (now Caltrans) in their accounting department when the division was very active in building and expanding freeways from Santa Barbara through Los Angeles. She worked for many years as a translator and a nutrition consultant. She spent a few years in Mexico for the specific purpose to serve her patria. She moved back to California in approximately the 1980’s and then early in 2004 to Utah. She was dedicated to family history. For the last 30 years, she volunteered at The Church of Jesus Christ Family History Center and was called in her wards and stakes as a consultant and teacher. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 29, 2021 at the Springville 10th Ward Chapel, 1785 East 400 South, Springville, Utah. Friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be held on Thursday, December 9, at the Eternal Valley Memorial Park in Newhall, California.
