Corry Don Fausett Obituary (1968

Corry Don Fausett beloved Father, Son, Brother, Uncle and Freind passed away unexpectedly on January 6th, 2024, at the age of 55 at his home in Provo, Utah. He was born May 23rd, 1968 to Don and Betty Fausett in Provo, UT. He was the youngest of four siblings. He grew up in Orem, UT. As a kid he loved to go hunting and fishing with his dad. He attended Sharon Elementary, Orem Junior High, and Orem High where he graduated from in 1986. His clients included Village Inn, Pepsi, Coors, and Frito Lay during his 20 years working for Coca-Cola. In 1991 he met Melissa Johnson and her son Cameron who was only one year old at the time. They became a family and lived in Orem, UT. Corry became Cameron’s Dad from day one and the two of them were inseparable. On July 9th, 1999, Corry and Melissa were married in Provo. They moved to Provo on Grandview Hill in 2001. Corry enjoyed going golfing with Cameron, his nephew Austin, and brother-in-law Shane. He also enjoyed tinkering with his side by side and anything else he could find to make the time pass. He also had a love for dad jokes whether they were funny or not. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan. In the summer you could find him at the family cabin or sitting around the fire pit at his brother-in-law’s until all hours of the night just talking and looking at Facebook. Corry is survived by his son Cameron Johnson, mother Betty Frisby, sisters Judy Mackey (Tom), Sandy Fackrell, and Barbara Arcolio (Marc); father-in-law Phillip Johnson, sister-in-law Amy Buckner (Shane), brother-in-law Jay Johnson (Cassie), and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, and cousins. Corry was preceded in death by his father Don Fausett, brother-in-law Raymond Fackrell, and mother-in-law Judy Johnson. On Monday, January 15th, 2024 there will be a gathering to honor Corry from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, UT 84606.
