    Dagmar "Dee" Larsen

    October 18, 1915 - November 20, 2011

    Dagmar M. (Dee) Larsen passed away at her home Sunday, Nov. 20, 2011 in Lander, Wyo. She was born Oct. 18, 1915 in Provo, Utah to Hans and Johanna Johansen Miller. She graduated from Provo High School in 1934 and attended BYU. During World War II she worked at Camp Kearns and later at Geneva Steel. Dee married Donald Larsen on Aug. 15, 1947. They lived their married life in Provo and Cedar City, Utah and finally in Lander, Wyoming for the past 44 years. She is survived by a sister, Norma Shackleford of Menlo Park, CA, two daughters, Dana Mikesell of Lander, WY and Dixie Burningham (Earl) of Payson, UT, ten grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and three brothers, Wilford, Stan, and Reed Miller, a grandson and a great-granddaughter. Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon, Friday, November 25, 2011 at East Lawn Memorial Hills, 4800 North 650 East, Provo. No prior visitation will be held.
