    Donald Edward Touchet

    January 24, 1954 - February 26, 2021

Donald Edward Touchet was born on January 24, 1954… And the world was never the same. He joined his brother Earl, who was 7 years older than him, as the children of Alfred Leslie Touchet and EvaMae Deuschle. Don learned great things from his parents. They joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when Don was 5 or 6 years old. They taught him the importance of obeying and keeping the commandants of God with exactness. At the age of 19, Don served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Germany North Mission. He loved to serve others. He held many different callings in the Church including Boy Scout leader, Ward Mission leader, High Council and as a Seminary teacher (early morning). Don served in each calling with all his heart. He served in his home, doing dishes, cleaning bathrooms or anything else that may be needed to help his wife around the house. His service in his home was also spiritual. He taught his children the importance of obeying and keeping the commandments of God with exactness; calling obedience, “the Big O”, and this is being handed down to his grandchildren as well. He has left behind a wonderful legacy of love and service and will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Laurie Ann (King) Touchet and all eight children, Joel Edward (Mary) Touchet, Julie Ann (Justin) Tangren, Juliette Reneé (John) Fagerwold, Jessica Eve (Sean) Yergensen, Joseph Spencer Touchet, Jesus Donald Touchet, Jennifer Amanda Touchet, and Allison Joy Touchet. Plus, ten grandchildren whom he loved very much. Due to Covid-19, family only services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at the Lakeview 3rd Ward Chapel, 450 West 1800 South, Orem, Utah. All are invited to view his services on the LinkTree at LV3.us or using the direct YouTube link: https://youtu.be/873hs1j1w9E. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bergmortuary.com.
