Doris Yvonne Harvey Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

“Vonnie” Doris Yvonne "Vonnie" Harvey, 91, loving mother, passed on September 4, 2013 at her home in Three Fountains where she has been living for the last eight years. She was born April 17, 1922 in Preston, ID, the third daughter of Warren and Leora Smith Fjeldsted. Vonnie spent many years living between Ogden, UT and the Los Angeles, CA area. She enjoyed reading and working in her vegetable and flower gardens. Her favorite activity was picnics in the mountains and viewing the fall colors. She was active in DUP (Daughters of Utah Pioneers), Book Club, Family Home Evening Group and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Max Browning and Russell Harvey. She is survived by two daughters: Warene (Paul) Christensen of Orange, CA and Penny (Dan) Doty of Provo, UT; six grandchildren: Kevin Christensen, Michael Christensen, Diana Norman, Jill Derington, Liz Saenz and Sam Doty; and 24 great-grandchildren. Her greatest joy was her family. She was greatly loved by all and we will miss her. She was a truly classy lady. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 9, 2013 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. There will be no prior visitation.
