Earl Clark

Earl Lynn Clark, 83 of Lehi, UT died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born Logan, UT July 16, 1927 to James Lynn and Effie Melissa Schow Clark and was the fifth of six children. They moved to Provo in 1930. Educated in the Provo School District, Timpanogos Elementary, Dixon Jr. High, Provo High School, and Provo LDS Seminary. He served an LDS Mission to Denmark. Served in the Army during World War II; stationed in Korea and the Philippines. He then went on to work for Mountain States Telephone and Telegraph for 32 ½ years. He married his High School sweetheart, Kathryn Scott and raised two children, Scott Earl Clark and Susan Lynn Clark Lamb. He served in many organizations of the LDS Church. His favorite was tending in the nursery for Relief Society work meetings. Preceded in death by Kathryn Scott Clark, James Lynn Clark, Effie Melissa Schow Clark, Don S. Clark, Ethlyn Clark Miner, and Lola Clark Dennett. Survived by Lois Clark Johnson, W. Kay Clark, Scott Earl Clark, Susan Lynn Clark Lamb, six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Sego Lily Ward Chapel, 880 North 700 East, Lehi. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday evening from 6 until 8 and at the church Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment at Lehi City Cemetery, 1100 North 400 East, Lehi, UT following funeral services. Condolences to the family may be sent to the family from www.bergmortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to any Wells Fargo Bank in the name of Earl L. Clark Trust.
