    Edward Harry Hallman

    April 18, 1940 - November 13, 2020

    Edward Harry Hallman passed away peacefully November 13, 2020 in Payson, UT. He was born April 18, 1940 to Edward Calvin and Iva Ruth Dumm Hallman in Barnsburrow, PA. For those that knew Ed, he was a fly fisherman, dad, grandpa, and friend to all he encountered. Ed married his one and only sweetheart, Carolyn Ann Jordan on June 18, 1962, while serving in the U.S. Army. Following his service in the military, Ed worked in the mines in New Mexico, Colorado and later moved to Utah. While in Utah, Ed worked for Geneva Steel and finished his career at Tooele Army Depot as a civilian contractor. Ed and Carol resided in Pleasant Grove, UT for 38 years until Carol’s death in 2016. He later moved to Spanish Fork, UT. Ed has 1 surviving daughter, Elizabeth (Trent) Davies; 4 grandchildren: Candice Davies, Shandy Davies, Shay (Paige) Davies, Alex (Kasia) Davies; 4 great-grandchildren: Katelyn Davies, Kobe Davies, Kassie Slocum, and Berkley Davies and sister, Sandee (Jim) Monfredini. A Funeral Mass for Edward Hallman will be held at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at the St. Peters Catholic Church, 634 Caveman Blvd., American Fork, UT. Following services, a dedication of the grave will be held at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 S State Street, Provo, UT 84606. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.bergmortuary.com. Daddy, your mind and body are now whole again, where you can fish the most glorious rivers and streams in the heavens above. You will be missed by all of us, but we know you are at peace with your sweetheart. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation be made in the name of Edward Hallman to the American Legion.
