George Phillip Cunningham

March 25, 1931 - January 13, 2022

Heaven gained an amazing Angel January 13,2022 My grandpa was a man of many trades although he retired back in 1995 from Utah Valley State College now known as UVU he taught Collision repair. He volunteered as a Utah county sheriff search and rescue Also known as the Utah county Jeep Patrol. He was a friend to everyone, there wasn’t anywhere we could go in state or out of state that he didn’t meet somebody that he had met before. From saving lives to returning the Deceased to their loved ones. He definitely lived a full and adventurous life. Everyone enjoyed listening to his stories he always had a joke to tell his stories always got better as he told them. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Jane Scott Cunningham his children Jody and her spouse Chris, Kenny Cunningham, Rick and Kate Cunningham. Grandchildren Camille Gaisford, Randy and Melissa Cunningham, Kelly Cunningham, Chris (critter), Zack and Kamille. 15 great grandchildren and 3 beautiful great great grandchildren. George was preceded by his mother and father Leslie and Ella Cunningham sisters Dorthea and Ruth brother Joe and grandson in law Kelly Gaisford, Brother-in-law Gary Bridges sister-in-law Karen and Jay Robb. The viewing will be held at Berg Mortuary in Provo Utah at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 followed by a graveside ceremony at 1:30 pm in the Provo cemetery.
