    Gordon Leon Taylor

    October 25, 1929 - February 14, 2015

    “Born October 25th, 1929 in Provo, UT to Bacle D. Taylor and Ruth Harper. I lived a great life, a lot of ups and a few downs but a lot of blessings. Loved working with my hands. Loved serving in the U.S. Navy for 4 years (Korea). Married Mary E. Watters, March 12, 1970. Sealed in the Provo Temple.” Gordon was a General Contractor, he worked at American Stores Property Mills, and in the Provo Temple as an ordinance worker for several years. Preceded in death by parents; step-mother, Sadie Leola Peay-Taylor; brothers, Bacle Don Taylor (Lucile), George H. Taylor (Viola), and Dale H. Taylor (Ada). Survived by sisters, Ruth Holt (Birch), and Edith C. VanWoerkom (Norman); children, David L. Taylor (Sharon), Phillip W. Taylor (Jenny), Douglas E. Taylor (Carolyn), Leola E. Taylor Berry, Bacle G. Taylor, Michael J. Taylor (Brandie), George R. Taylor (Becky), and Andrea E. Taylor Steele (Kelly); 32 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, UT. Friends are invited to meet at the cemetery.
