Jessie J. White passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017 at the home of her brother, Gilbert Jensen, in Orem, Utah. She was born to Andrew Marinus and Karoline Kristine Jensen in Centerfield, Utah on July 3, 1919. She married Ed White in Las Vegas in 1979, and then flew to the Caribbean for a Puerto Rican cruise. Their home in Spanish Fork was known for having several hundred varieties of roses in the yard. They were awarded the Most Beautiful Yard in Spanish Fork four years in a row. Jessie worked at Geneva Steel as a financial advisor. She then went to work as a financial officer at First Security Bank for over 20 years. She was instrumental in preventing a bank robbery at the branch in Provo and aided in the arrest of the suspect. Jessie is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ira Jensen and Bobby Jensen and sister, Gay Jensen. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at the Provo City Cemetery, 610 South State Street, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.
