May 13, 1926 - February 11, 2011
Judy Robinson our loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend passed away on February 11, 2011 after a short illness. Judy was born on May 13, 1926 to Oscar and Gretta Carlson in Salt lake City, Utah. Her spirit, love, and compassion will be deeply missed by all including many friends and relatives. She had a great love for all those she came in contact with. She was an exceptional mother and grandmother. Her legacy is one of education, service, friendship to all, compassion to everyone, and extreme unbridled optimism. She had a vivacious love for gardening, tennis, swimming, skiing, aerobics, and golf with anyone who would join her. She served in many aspects of her community, church, and politics. Her zeal for life was displayed in her drive to accomplish MUCH in a day. Her creativity never diminished, her book reading never failed, and her energy was endless. She had a passion for people; she was particularly fond of the unique, the underdog, and persons on the periphery. Through her love of education she took special interest in the under-achievers. She is survived by her six children: Michael (Tawna) Robinson, Scott (Laurie) Robinson, Wendy (the late Danny) Dewsnup, Jim (Kris) Robinson, Randy (Cay Lynn) Robinson, and Susie Rougeau. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Robinson. We are very appreciative for the exceptional and extended care given to our mother by our sister Susie Rougeau and her boys. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the Edgemont 3rd Ward Chapel, 350 East 2950 North, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 and at the church Wednesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Interment, East Lawn Memorial Hills. Condolences may be sent to the family through www.bergmortuary.com.
