Kathleen D. Karsch Obituary (1942

Kathleen D. Karsch passed away July 23, 2014 peacefully in her sleep surrounded by family. She was the best mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that anyone could ask for. She will be missed dearly. She was born Aug. 28, 1942 in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents Homer and Eva Denison. Attended South High School where she met and married Peter K. Karsch and they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Later divorced. She spent many years working for Arnold Machinery and the State of Utah Health Department. She loved hugs, cats, crocheting, fishing and of course family. She had a habit of making friends with complete strangers, and everyone called her mom or grandma. She is survived by two children, Jeffrey P. (Tiffani) Karsch and Byron J. (Marci) Karsch; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gayle Cherrington. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the mortuary from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery, Cottonwood Heights, Utah. “We love and miss you oodles and gobbs”
