LaRue Anderson Rigby Obituary (1934

LaRue Anderson Rigby passed away peacefully on Monday, June 27, 2022 at age 87 years old. At the time of her passing she was living in Boise, Idaho with her daughter, Michelle Howard, and family. Prior to this she had lived in Las Vegas, Nevada for the previous 17 years. She is survived by her brother, David Anderson (Delta, Utah), and 3 of her children: Douglas Rigby (Las Vegas), Michelle Rigby Howard (Boise, Idaho), and Paul Rigby (Tucson, Arizona). LaRue enjoyed and loved 14 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. LaRue was born December 6, 1934 in Millard County, Utah, on the family farm in Sutherland and grew up in Delta, Utah. She attended BYU her freshman year where she met and married her lab assistant, Bertrand Eugene Rigby, in 1953. They had 2 children and adopted 2 and lived and traveled all over the United States. LaRue was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints her entire life. She lived a beautiful life of serving her family and those around her, always putting others needs before her own. She was quick to smile and always lend a hand where needed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 8, 2022 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. A viewing will be held prior to services beginning at 9:30 a.m. She will be buried next to her beloved Bert in Orem City Cemetery following the service.
