Leona Beth Miller Sheetz

Leona Beth Miller Sheetz was born February 26, 1927 to Manley M. Miller and Bessie McKenna and raised in Glenrock, Wyoming. She passed away February 27, 2020 in Provo, Utah. She was a dedicated wife, mother, sister and friend. She loved reading, crossword puzzles, crocheting, knitting, and family history. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, served as a temple worker and had many callings in the church. She loved ministering to her fellow sisters. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Leona was preceded in death by her husband, Homer O. Sheetz; brother, Dale Miller; daughter, Gayle Ellen Adams and grandson, Teagan Kyle Sheetz. She is survived by her children: Kevin (Barbara) Sheetz, Marlane (Terry) Flack, Terry (Kathy) Sheetz and Kyle (SueDawn) Sheetz; 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 7, 2020 at the Cherry Hill 3rd Ward Chapel, 1650 South 200 East, Orem, Utah. Friends may visit with the family from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.
