Lucile P. Scott Obituary (1918

Lucile Percival Scott was reunited with the love of her life Ralph on October 6th, 2010 surrounded by love and in the presence of her family. Born March 25 1918 in Ioka, Utah, and raised in the Uinta basin, she graduated from Roosevelt High School and seminary. At the age of 12 she shared her love of piano, playing for the church, continuing to share this gift throughout her life accompanying soloists, groups and choirs. She spent time working for the Duchene County Agent and the Roosevelt agricultural office. March 14 1946 she married her eternal partner Ralph Scott in the Salt Lake LDS temple. For 57 years she made Provo Utah her home devoting life to family and friends. She was an active member of the LDS Sunset Ward where she served in the Sunday school, relief society, family records extraction program and other callings. Lucile worked for AAA agricultural, the Utah County Assessors office, eventually retiring from JC Penney Inc. Orem, Utah. She moved from Provo to Payson in 2003 to be close to family. She spent the rest of her time enjoying her most precious gift, the great grandchildren. She enjoyed crochet, croknit, embroidery, reading and baking. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was always surrounded by family and friends. She will be missed dearly by all those whom she blessed and loved beyond measure. We are joyous in our thoughts of her long awaited reunion with Ralph. Preceded in death by parents Charles and Mary Emily Corbett Percival, Siblings Camilla, Guy, Hugh, Evan, Beulah, and Lyle. Survived by her sister Florence Wright, son Edward (Deedra) Scott, Grandchildren Ralph (Emily) Scott, Pepper (Tracy) Byrge, Ginger Belone, Mark (Dannielle) Gentry, Keith Gentry, and Mike Munoz. Great Grandchildren Tyrel, Harlie, Roy, Wyatt, Shelby, Hunter, Sedona, Libbi, Wylie, and Reese. Miss you Mom, We Love You. Special thanks from the family for all the church has provided for our mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at the Sunset 9th Ward Chapel, 1560 South 1100 West, Provo. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 E. Center, Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 and at the church Wednesday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
