Provo, Utah
Marie Ann (Burns) Glazier was born August 29, 1946, Provo, UT. On August 3, 1962, Ann married the love of her life, Kenneth LaMar Glazier. After that fateful day, they moved to California as Dad served his Country in the United States Navy.
As a Navy wife, Mom was on her own in a strange land. Dad would be deployed for extended periods consisting of 2 to 12 months at a time reaching to the four corners of the world. Mom raised two children while Dad was in the service, then two more kids once they moved back to Utah: Brenda Ann has two daughters, one son and four grandkids. Kenneth Troy married Karen and they have one daughter, a son and two grandkids. Lisa Lynn lives in Oklahoma. Robert Joshua married Tricia and they have one daughter and three sons.
Mom and Dad were sealed in the Provo Temple on April 5, 1977. Our family will be together eternally. After 70 years of service and sacrifice Mom is now at peace with our Heavenly Father and Savior watching over us all.
Mom’s hundreds of miles on motorcycles, countless camping trips and serving anyone that had a need has left a legacy that will not be forgotten.
A few of her hobbies were loving her grandkids (spoiled rotten), gardening, crafting and killing snakes with her .22 pistol. Anyone that enjoys the left hand fork of Hobble Creek, you can thank Mom. After many years of fighting against the system and an aggressive landowner, the public access was officially recorded with the US Forest Service and the Utah County as public easement. If anyone ever needed help, Mom was the first to provide it.
Mom returned to paradise to be greeted by angels in the morning hours of April 22, 2017.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Mapleton North Stake Center, 475 North 1600 West, Mapleton, Utah. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Springville Evergreen Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.bergmortuary.com.
