Miriam Lamoreaux Cochran
November 26, 1945 - May 17, 2015
Miriam Lamoreaux Cochran, 69, of Mapleton, returned home to our Heavenly Father, Sunday, May 17, 2015 in her home surrounded by family after 18 years of excruciating pain and illness. She was such a beautiful, strong, compassionate, and extremely caring woman. She was a great listener who was always there to help with advice, a warm smile, and a hug. She was an avid gardener and artist. She loved to travel, and did so until she was no longer able. She had a strong testimony of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She was deeply loved, and will be missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her father, George Eldon Lamoreaux; mother, Leah Cook; brother, George Lamoreaux; and sister, Vivian Gamble. She is survived by her husband, Brent Cochran; son, Brett Cochran; daughter, Laina (Craig) Norman; son, Jason (Stacey) Cochran; sister, Kathryn Bourke; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Kim of Brighton Home Health Care and Hospice for the wonderful care that was given to her the last few days of her life. Also a special thanks to Berg Mortuary. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah.
