Nicholas "Nick" Wayne Conte Obituary (1985

Nicholas Wayne Conte, Son of Russ & Lori Conte passed away July 25th, 2017. He is survived by his two beloved sons Nicholas Wayne Conte Jr. and Lucas Russell Conte, ages 10 and 7. His sisters Lacey Langer and Megan Conte, and Grandmothers Jan Pinder and Adeana Hicks. He was born on January 30th, 1985, in Provo, Utah. He attended high school in Springville Utah and was a student of Theatre Arts at Santa Barbara City College. Nick loved sports and spent many hours with his boys on family vacations wake boarding at Lake Powell, snowboarding in Sundance, and at the beach kite surfing in Santa Barbara. Nick also enjoyed being blasted with paintballs by his sons. He loved music, enjoyed the arts, was an aspiring actor, and was passionate about his film career. Nick started his computer career at the age of 12 and was a pioneer in the development of cloud computing and one of the initial directors at Right Scale Computing. Started working at Novell at the age of 17, and one of the first employees at Sonos. Nick was the Chief Information officer for Specialized Attorney Services when he passed. Nick will be remembered for his big heart, sensitive nature, and generous spirit. He loved his boys with all his heart. His family loves him more than he will ever know and he will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 29, 2017 at the Provo Married Student 34th Ward North Chapel, 945 East 700 North, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Friday, July 28 from 6-8:00 p.m. and at the church Saturday from 9:30-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
