Robert Nello Westover

Robert Nello Westover passed away peacefully Thursday, September 1, 2016.

Bob was born in Provo on May 23, 1932 to Charles Nello Westover and Jacquita Johnson Westover. He has lived his life in Provo, Utah.

He is survived by his daughters Pam (Ian) Temple, Jill Payne and Lisa (Brad) Morris, nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and siblings Sharee Sorensen, Jim Westover, Kaye Jeffery, Carole Clarke and Lynnae Klishko, and Jan's brother, Pymm Chartrand. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Robyn.

He graduated from Provo High School and served his country as an Army Sergeant in Korea. He married Janice Chartrand on March 17, 1955 in the Salt Lake temple. He attended BYU and worked as an accountant throughout his life.
Bob loved nature, his country and his family. He especially loved traveling with his sweetheart. They traveled the world on cruise ships and had the time of their lives visiting the Caribbean, Central and South America, the Panama Canal, Spain, France, Italy, Greece, Canada, New England, and Alaska. Dad and Mom were INSEPARABLE. He has missed her dearly since she passed.

His simple pleasures were camping, pretending to hunt, playing cards with friends, taking mom to her garage sales, reading novels and spending time with grandkids.

The family wishes to express sincere thanks and gratitude for the tender care given by Envision, especially Nate. Also Sissy and the wonderful staff at Cove Point.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Edgemont 6th Ward Chapel, 4056 North Timpview, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Berg Mortuary of Provo, 185 East Center Street, Thursday, September 8, from 6-8:00 p.m. and at the church Friday from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services.
