    Ruth Anita Morris Biddulph

    April 4, 1917 - September 15, 2013

Ruth Anita Morris Biddulph, age 96, died Sunday, September 15, 2013, in Provo, Utah. Ruth was born April 4, 1917 in American Falls, Idaho, a daughter of George Williams and Margaret Elenor Call Morris. On November 23, 1938 she married Reed Biddulph in the Salt Lake Temple. A graduate of the University of Utah and recipient of the California Master Teacher Certificate, Ruth taught secondary school in Utah and California for over 35 years, helping influence and shape the lives of thousands of young people. A gifted teacher, she was active in the LDS Church, serving as Junior Sunday School Coordinator for over 17 years and in other auxiliary positions throughout her lifetime. An indomitable spirit, thrift, hard work and a zest for life were her native attributes. Her passions were her love for the out of doors, sports of all kinds and especially camping with her husband, children and grandchildren at the family cabin in Aspen Grove. Ruth moved with her family to Santa Barbara, CA where she resided for 54 years until her declining health necessitated a return to Provo to be closer to children and grandchildren. Her husband Reed, daughter Vicki Stonely and grandson Leland Biddulph preceded her in death. She is survived by three children: Sherri Turner of Fort Collins, CO; Morris R. Biddulph of Phoenix, AZ; and Patti Kemp of St. Louis, MO; 23 grandchildren and 69 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Edgemont Stake Center Chapel, 303 West 3700 North, Provo, Utah. Friends may call from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery, Provo, Utah. Condolences may be sent to www.bergmortuary.com. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the LDS Church Perpetual Education Fund at https://donate.lds.org/TNHO3ajmoEyyUA7Sb5uKkg/P/hn9XP8j0jUO2ofs-rSj-gw?cde1=797
