Selma Crouse
April 11, 1944 - November 4, 2012
Selma's 68 year long mortal test is over. Her test started on April 11th, 1944 on her mother's 26th birthday in Vernal Utah. Her first teachers were Dan and Laura Crouse and sister Dawn Christine. Sister Barbara Colleen and brother Daniel Eddy were also a part of her journey. Her first grade was in Rexburg, ID. The remainder of her education was in Lindon and Pleasant Grove Utah in the Alpine School District. Selma later graduated from BYU. She served an LDS Mission in 1965 in the Eastern Atlantic States Mission. Upon returning, she got a BA degree in Elementary Education, later teaching school in Green River, Utah. She considered this job her all time favorite, but also the hardest. In her last five years of life, she enjoyed being a teacher's aide at Spring Creek Elementary School in the Provo School District. Her pleasures in life were music, being in the accordion club, reading, crocheting and sewing doll's clothes. She loved her kittens and looks forward to seeing them and her ancestors. She is survived by her two sisters, Thorn Jones her brother-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, November 12, 2012 in the Provo East Stake Center, 667 North 600 East, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the Stake Center on Monday from 9-9:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Orem City Cemetery.
