December 6, 1955 - September 5, 2020
Sherri Kaye Nostrom left this world on Saturday, September 5, 2020, to rest in the precious arms of Jesus. While her passing was sudden, she spent her last day at her favorite place on this earth surrounded by her family and enjoyed her final hours before returning to her Father in Heaven. Sherri was born on December 6, 1955, to Eugene Edward Jensen and Helen Julia Jensen in Richfield, Utah. She graduated from Provo High School in 1974. Sherri met and fell in love with Kevin Nostrom and they married on November 14, 1975 and were later sealed in the Provo Temple. Together they had four amazing sons and one beautiful daughter. Sherri’s passions included watching her boys play hockey and baseball, where she was their biggest cheerleader. She loved spoiling and loving on her only daughter, Keisha, along with her cherished grandkids. Sherri was an incredible grandmother, no one ever questioned that, and she loved spending time and money on each one of them. She also enjoyed camping with her family, fishing, knitting, tatting, and crocheting—especially blankets and burp clothes for each new grandbaby that was so blessed to join the Nostrom family. Sherri loved her work and friends at Associated Foods, where she had recently retired. Additionally, Sherri loved her little fur babies, more than most people could imagine. Sherri will forever live on in those she left behind: Kevin, her devout husband of 45 years; her four sons: Jeremy (Marcie), Curtis (Becky), Shawn (Renae), and Jason (Marylou); her most beloved daughter, Keisha; 10 grandchildren; sister, Geri; brother, Terry; and countless other family and friends. Sherri is preceded in death by her mother and father.
