Treis Braiden Millar Obituary (1990

Treis Braiden Millar, 24, passed from this life on Saturday July 19, 2014 due to severe meningitis and endocarditis which came as a result of a staph infection. He was born to Ken and Mary Millar on June 7, 1990 in Provo, Utah. Treis was the eleventh of twelve children and the youngest of seven boys. He endeared himself to his family and friends with his grateful, kind, empathetic nature. All who have come to truly know him will sorely miss him. He made the most of every opportunity to express gratitude for even the smallest act of kindness. His example of humility has indeed enriched many lives. As a young boy, Treis was active in scouting and loved camping. He was a remarkable athlete and enjoyed basketball, football, soccer, long boarding, bike riding, and just about anything involving physical activity. He loved working with his hands and was a promising craftsman. He married McKenzie Morris and together they had one son, Owen Treis, whom he adored and loved spending time with. He is preceded in death by his oldest brother Tighe Allen; his grandparents and an uncle. He is survived by wife, McKenzie and son, Owen Treis; parents, Ken and Mary Millar, sisters Candi (Michael) Vuyk, Jeni Rimmer-Millar (Wiley), Tori (David) Dunkley, Taraleigh (Jordan) Gray, and Tessa Millar; and brothers Terry (Amie), Tony (Amy), Teejay (Laurie), Tynan (Tiffany), and Talon (Nola Nikole) Millar; as well as 28 nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 25, 2014 at the LDS Ward Chapel, 1745 South State, Provo, Utah. Friends and family may call from 9:00-10:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
