Uluilakepa Pupunu Viena Iosefa
October 23, 2017 - April 18, 2019
Uluilakepa Pupunu Viena Iosefa, born on October 23, 2017, departed this life as he slept Thursday, April 18, 2019. Before Ului returned back to the arms of our Lord God, he made sure to leave an everlasting imprint of LOVE to cherish here on earth. Ului leaves behind his mommy, Ana Finau Pupunu and dat (pronounced d-ahhh-t), Jacob James Iosefa. He also leaves behind his siblings, Leonidas, Cozette, Foiana, Pelefoti, and Malia. Ului was so full of joy and was very playful. He was for sure a daddy’s boy, and shared a bond which is unexplainable and so strong. The connection he and his father shared could be felt by anyone who had the opportunity to witness the two interact. He loved and adored his mommy as well, clingy to her, and even more so before his departure. He learned how to speak a little bit of Tongan asking his mommy to “tau uo” (translation-lets go) when wanting to leave and “uma” (translation- kiss) in random moments. Ului was very close to his siblings and they embraced their baby brother, every single one of them having their own link to him. Spend any small amount of time with any of his brothers or sisters and the stories they can recall are many all having been created in a year and a half. Ului loved to play with any kind of ball. He for sure was destined to be a natural athlete. We can still hear him now, “ball, ball.” He also loved his punching bag, and occasionally could be spotted hitting anything and everything. Our Ului loved his family, each and every single one of us so hard and taught us all how to enjoy life, love at all times, and be joyful in the midst of all that is going on around us. We miss our sweet little man, and look forward to reuniting with him in heaven. Until then Ului, have a blast playing all your favorite sports, with blaring oldies music in the background, dancing every now and again in the streets of gold in the presence of God with all our loved ones who have gone before. We love you and can’t wait to see you up there. Always in our hearts, families are forever. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary Friday, April 26, from 6-9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9-10:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Provo City Cemetery.
