Verla Mae Sullivan Chadwick

November 12, 1929 - January 21, 2019

A long-awaited family reunion took place on January 21, 2019 with the passing of Verla Mae Chadwick due to age related illness. She was born November 12, 1929 in Kimball, Nebraska, to Paul and Marcia Sutherland Sullivan. Verla enjoyed doing puzzles, reading and needlework. Many friends and family were recipients of her handiwork. She traveled to many states on the road with her husband as he drove for Savage Trucking. After retirement, they were able to see many sights that they weren't able to see while on the truck. She is survived by her husband, Richard Chadwick Sr., 3 children, 26 grandchildren, 55 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 6 siblings, 4 children and one great-grandchild. She was loved by many and missed by many more! Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 26, 2019 in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may visit with the family at the mortuary on Friday, January 25, from 6-8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10-11:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
