Our beloved mother, Yuk Chun Lew passed away on Wednesday, 2016 November 23. She was born on 1927 October 27 in Hoi San, Canton, China. Yuk was married in 1946 to Morton Lew in Canton, China. She, along with her husband, opened the China Garden Restaurant in Provo in 1975 and retired in 1981. After retiring, she and her husband traveled extensively to many Asian countries. Mom was also a talented and creative person who made many of the clothes she wore. She has always been a caring and thoughtful person, a person who was concerned more about you than herself. She was also a talented cook who made delicious dishes that would have you begging for more. She is survived by two sons, daughter-in-law, granddaughter and brother. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, December 3, 2016 at the Berg Drawing Room Chapel, 185 East Center Street, Provo, Utah. Friends may call at the mortuary Friday, December 2, from 6-8:00 p.m. and Saturday, from 9:30-10:30 a.m. prior to services. Interment will be in the Salt Lake City Cemetery.
