When he was young he grew up on the family ranch and farm in Teasdale, Utah. He lived a rancher’s life helping with their sheep. He attended Wayne High School, then attended Wasatch Academy (while his parents traveled). Once his parents returned home, he and his parents moved to Provo, Utah where he graduated from BY High. He then went to college at BYU and graduated with degrees in both Accounting and Journalism. He began his career with Arthur Young and Company in Chicago, then transferred to the Los Angeles office. When they moved to Los Angeles the company merged with Ernst and Whinney and he became a partner with Ernst and Young. When he retired, he never stopped working, going on to start his own company, Trouver Capital Partners. He also sat on the boards of a few companies. He was a great example of a hard worker. He loved writing and wrote articles for industry magazines. He leaves behind 40 journals of his life. He was working up until the last few weeks of his life.
He loved dark chocolate, avocados, Havarti cheese and true black licorice. He rode horses and took his children on many adventures. He is well loved.
Our family really appreciates the Legacy Village in Provo. The CNAs and Med techs there were very kind. Also, the members of the Quail Ridge Branch.
