LaNae Fox Herbert Obituary (1934

LaNae Herbert, 90, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the best mother, grandmother, and friend anyone could ever wish for. Known for her selflessness, feisty spirit, and infectious sense of humor, LaNae brought light and love into the lives of everyone who knew her. LaNae loved her Savior and we are at peace to know she is in His arms. LaNae was a woman who loved with everything she had, never passing up a chance to share a laugh or a moment of joy. She would give you the shirt off her back if you asked. She had a particular fondness for sugar cookies and could always be counted on to join a kitchen dance party with her great-grandbabies. Even in her later years, LaNae lived her life to the fullest. She spent the last four years surrounded by laughter, love, adventure, traveling, dancing, and making lasting memories with her family. And oh, how she loved her family with such fierceness, and we love her the same. Her greatest legacy is the love she gave to those around her. She leaves behind a family that will forever cherish her memory, including her four children: Kim (Bob) Briggs, Scott Herbert, Leslie (Brad) Pilkington, and Wendy (Shawn) Richins. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom were blessed to have her as more than just a grandmother, she was their best friend. She is preceded in death by her husband Victor Herbert, grandson Stephen, granddaughter Brittnai, and great-granddaughter Chelsea. There will be no public services at the request of LaNae. Instead, she wanted everyone to enjoy a sugar cookie, drink a cup of coffee, and smile because she is so happy now, and that’s all she wants for all of us who are mourning her loss.
