Lillian Sherrie Cox Diediker Obituary (1946

In Loving Memory of Lillian Sherrie Cox Diediker (1946-2023). Lillian Sherrie Cox Diediker, known to all as Sherrie, returned to her Heavenly and earthly parents on Sunday, October 15, 2023. She departed while holding her husband's hand, surrounded by her loving sons and daughters-in-law. Sherrie was born on April 11, 1946, to Hendrix Candler and Elizabeth Lucretia Cox in Farmington, New Mexico. Her early years were spent at the family trading post in Star Lake, New Mexico. She later pursued a master's degree in speech pathology at BYU, where she would meet the love of her life, Tom Diediker. They were sealed together for time and all eternity in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Los Angeles Temple on June 5, 1971. Afterward, they moved to Farmington, New Mexico, to start their family, eventually moving to Newbury Park, California, and finally settling in Lindon, Utah. Sherrie and Tom embarked on a remarkable 30-year business venture with NuSkin Enterprises, during which she became a beloved mentor to many. Her passion was helping others succeed, and her business associates became an extended family. Sherrie radiated love and laughter to all who knew her. She found immense joy in serving others and was a devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. However, her greatest joy was motherhood. She cherished raising her four sons and witnessing them become fathers. Her happiest moments were when all her children and grandchildren gathered to enjoy her famous New Mexico enchiladas, which were delightfully spicy - just the way she liked them. Lillian Sherrie Diediker is survived by her loving husband, Thomas Jay Diediker of Lindon, Utah, and her four sons: Sean Thomas Diediker, Brock Candler Diediker and his wife Lindsey Johnston Diediker, Brant Jay Diediker and his wife Stephanie Lynn Fuller Diediker, and Jason Lee Diediker and his wife Nichole Mariah Howard Diediker, as well as her ten adoring grandchildren. Sherrie held her parents and brothers close to her heart, and she will be overjoyed to be reunited with them. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hendrix Candler Cox and Elizabeth Lucretia Cox, and her siblings, Barton Lee Cox and Roger Sherrel Cox. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at the Lindon 10th Ward Chapel, 1051 E 200 S, Lindon, Utah 84042. The services will also be streamed via Zoom, starting at 11:30 am.
